Paul Gilbert Inspired Guitar Lick of The Week
Paul Gilbert has just released his new album Vertigo and will be playing at Marshall’s 50th Anniversary gig at Wembley Arena this saturday. What better time to feature a guitar lick in the style of this incredible player. The lick is in the key of E minor and features alternate picking and string skipping using the pentatonic scale. This is a great exercise to help you build up your alternate picking technique and speed and is something that Mike frequently teaches his students.
Unfortunately we don’t have any guitar tab for this particular lesson but Mike goes into a lot of detail on how to play the lick in the video.
