1987 is probably my favourite year for rock albums. It featured the two albums that got me into rock in a big way. Hysteria by Def Leppard and Whitesnake 87. It also features some great albums from some of the most prominent rock bands of the time. All of these albums feature incredible guitar playing and some of the best recorded rock guitar sounds and tones you’ll ever hear.
