Richie Kotzen has just announced a new signature Telecaster that should be available through Fender Japan in 2011. The original signature model won many fans with great playability, versatility and tone so this announcement will be very popular indeed as the original signature model has been very hard to come by recently.
I’ve included the quote from Richie’s facebook page below.
“This is my new black Fender Tele. This guitar will be available for purchase through Fender Japan and Fender Europe as a special order item sometime in 2011. The guitar in this picture will be used at my gig tomorrow night at the Viper Room in Hollywood and will be my main guitar on the upcoming 6 week European tour.”
Guitar looks awesome and I can’t wait to see some clips of Richie playing it soon.

Will this guitar be available in a left handed model?
I’m not sure to be honest Kenny, the Fender Japan website has very little details on the guitar other than the spec. Anyone else know whether there are any lefties available for the TLR-RK/LTD Signature Telecaster?
