Yamaha APX500 Electro Acoustic Guitar Review

Yamaha APX500

The Yamaha APX500 is an award winning electro acoustic from one of the biggest manufacterers of acoustic guitars in the world. The APX500 is the most affordable guitar in the APX series yet delivers a level of tone and response that provides plenty of expressive freedom and versatility. It’s no surprise that this guitar has become a firm favourite with acoustic guitarists.

The APX500 has a spruce top and nato back and sides and is  a solid electro-acoustic guitar with the reliable performance so often associated with Yamaha Guitars. A simple, effective 1-way under-saddle pickup system provides the tone, complemented by the System 55TA preamp with 3-band EQ and built-in tuner.

This is a nicely finished acoustic which is easy to play, has an easy to use electronic digital tuner, equalizer and sounds great whether plugged into an amp or played acoustically.
