ESP Guitars are known for producing high quality rock and metal guitars that exude quality and attention to detail. The EC401VF is no exception and could be a contender for best Les Paul alternative given its price tag falls under £600. The finish is superb, the natural tone is amazing and the feel is great. The guitar will be perfect for guitarists looking for a guitar that handles classic rock, blues and metal and the EC401VF will certainly surpass any Gibson Studios.

Would be great to hear what you thought of the guitar :-)

I’ve had one for about two weeks now. I really love the playability and tones of this guitar. I have owned two LP Studios and sold them both ultimately disappointed. This guitar is better than either of those was for sure. VERY PLEASED.

Great to know others feel the same about the playability and tone of this guitar. I’ll be looking to get one imported into the UK asap. If you have any photos of your ESP401VF why not email them across and we’ll add them to this page. Cheers.

Picked one of these up yesterday in the US. Initial setup was not so great, but I have seen very guitars that are. After some tweaks it was playing excellently with action of 3/64″ at the 12-24 frets. A couple high frets were found, but the shop is going to level them out today. All in all the best bang for the buck LP style guitar available!
